“Pyramid is a memory of volcanoes scattered around the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Each iconic in stature, they are like vessels that cradle forests, fields and rivers, creating a bowl of lushness. Mountains are what stay standing as weather changes and people come and go. Where there are mountains, be held.”
For every 10 blankets sold, Seljak send one to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre – an organisation that helps asylum seekers feel welcome, safe and supported in Australia.
Closing the loop
Seljak Brand’s recycled wool blankets are made out of factory floor offcuts from a minimum of 70% recycled wool and a 30% blend of other fibres and poly for strength. Wool is a natural fibre that is incredibly hard to replicate – it’s a renewable resource, it is odour and stain resistant, antibacterial, lightweight, breathable and insulating. After your blanket has enjoyed a long, adventurous life we’ll collect it free of charge using a carbon neutral courier service. Back at the mill, we’ll shred it and spin it into new yarn to make future blankets. This circular model allows us to divert waste from landfill and create a luxurious and useful blanket for your cosiness.

Care:
Because this is a naturally antibacterial product, the easiest way to clean your blanket is to air it out by hanging it in the sun (plus it’s environmentally friendly). Spot clean dirty marks and spills with lukewarm soapy water. If necessary, machine wash at maximum 30 degrees with a wool wash and hang dry. Reducing machine washing extends your blanket’s life and reduces energy and water consumption.
