Room Shoe Sizing: 
• Medium: fits Women up to US Women’s size 8 / Men’s up to size 6.5
• Large: fits Women up to US Women’s size 9.5 / Men’s up to US size 8

Room shoes are designed for maximum comfort and are very forgiving when it comes to sizing, but it is important that your foot is not larger than the footbed. To ensure a proper fit, put on the type of socks you plan to wear with your room shoes and measure the length of your foot (in centimeters) while standing. Compare this measurement with the Japanese sizing in the chart below – which is also measured in centimeters – to determine the appropriate size. If you fall between sizes, round up, and if you have particularly wide feet, consider moving up one size.

Care:
These shoes feature a soft sole and are intended to only be worn indoors. Machine wash with cold water and mild detergent. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners. Tumble dry low.

Kontex products are woven at gentle speeds on an old fashioned weaving machine in Imabari, where towel-making has been the regional speciality for over 200 years. This slow weaving process brings out the natural softness of the yarn, making the towels extremely soft, yet durable enough for everyday use. Kontex towels are highly absorbent, lightweight, fast-drying and environmentally friendly.
