Iris Hantverk Toilet Roll Holder

Modestly styled toilet roll holder, crafted from soft concrete and beechwood. Soft concrete is an innovative material made by including a small addition of polymers, and as a result the concrete becomes elastic and pliable. It contains no environmentally harmful substances. Moulded by hand in a small foundry outside of Stockholm, the soft concrete retains the characteristics of a resilient stone material, but with a smooth, pleasant feel to it. Varying smoothness and colour variations occur on the surface of this concrete, due to the irregularities of the crafting technique, which add to the vibrant and unique expression in each piece.
