Andrej Urem Milk Candle Living

MILK Candle, as it’s name suggests, displays gentle and familiar forms which will complement any setting as a decorative sculptural piece while creating a soothing atmosphere when lit.  It is one of the earliest inspired designs of AU Collection reminiscent of simpler times and simpler forms. The flame burns a cylinder inside the core in such a way as to leave the sides of the candle intact, transparent.

Andrej Urem transforms candles into works of art by hand-pouring and sculpting wax into architectural forms. Made with USA-grown soy, these candles are designed to burn a cylindrical core through the centre, leaving the sides intact so it appears transparent and illuminated. They can also be used to hold a small tea light when its burn time is spent. Each candle is hand made by Andrej in his New York studio.
